1.2) Where should
I upload my files?
When you are ready to upload your web files, they will go into the "www"
directory, which is a folder in your home directory.
You can FTP in (see this page in the guide)
and deposit your files in the www directory, keeping in mind that everything
in the www directory will be accessable from the Internet.
You can see the files you uploaded by going to "http://homer.netmar.com/~username"
(for Linux account holders) or "http://netmar.com/~username"
(for Solaris account holders) to see your files.
If you have a domain configured to work on your account, we will configure
it to use the "www" directory for the domain's files.
Keep in mind that if you want to upload something, yet not have it be
accessable from the Internet, you will have to put it somewhere other
than your "www" directory. See Section 1.1 on how to restrict access to
web-accessible directories.
