The most important way to
connect to your website is, obviously, via the world wide web. Your
site is accessible with two different methods.
If you have set up your domain to be hosted on Netmar's servers, your
domain will be hosted on it's domain name, i.e. "http://yourdomain.com".
This is the first way to see your website.
Your site will always be accessible via the web, using the format ~username.
This would be in the form of: "http://homer.netmar.com/~username/".
This will lead you into the www directory which is a subdirectory of
your home directory.
This is useful when switching from one webhosting provider to another,
i.e. from your previous host to Netmar. Using the ~username method to
look at your site means that you can examine it before you switch your
domain name over to Netmar's servers. You can make sure that everything
is in order first.
